Team Building & Away Days in Guildford

A team day that actually gets people outside. Most Guildford venues offer you a room; we can offer you a room and a private outdoor ground right next to it — which matters more than it sounds, since a lot of the best team building activities (inflatable challenges, obstacle courses, anything requiring real space) simply need grass to work.

We'll talk through what you're trying to achieve — closer collaboration, a proper reset after a hard quarter, or just a good day out — and help you combine the right spaces and activities to fit. Run activities on the Sports Ground, hold a briefing or workshop in the Long Room or Terrace Room, and wind the day down with drinks on the 6 O'Clock Roof Terrace. Use your own team building provider or one of ours — either way, we'll liaise directly with them so the day runs smoothly.

Team building activities

From 6 to 1,000 attendees. Popular options include the Crystal Challenge (an inflatable, TV-inspired team challenge that needs our outdoor grass to run), Psyclone 17, Can It, and Fire Walk — enquire and we'll talk through the full range and what suits your group size and objectives.

Away Days

Combine a half-day conference or workshop with an afternoon of team wellbeing. Choose a light lunch, BBQ or afternoon tea, followed by a game of softball cricket or team activities on the ground, and finish with celebration drinks. The Guildford Pavilion recently hosted our company’s annual Summer Social, and our team unanimously agreed it was our best one yet. That success is entirely thanks to the seamless organization and exceptional support of the events team. The food was truly outstanding, but the hospitality and atmosphere made the evening extra special. The staff went above and beyond—they were remarkably welcoming, attentive, and even set up a interactive cotton candy station for us, which was a delightful and memorable touch! The venue is fabulous, staff are efficient and helpful and its a great location too! In my experience, great food always makes an event. We have had their internal caterers twice and this year we went for a BBQ with Keely's kitchen and it was exceptional! Great coffee too! We all had a wonderful day, thank you!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We held a team day at the Guildford Pavilion a couple of days ago and I have nothing but praise for them. Saffron and the team worked miracles and nothing was too much bother for them. The venue is immaculate and the meeting room and facilities are perfect for a large group. We also had a team building company come to set up outside which again was professionally handled by the team, including getting us ice creams on one of the hottest days of the year! The BBQ was excellent and literally all dietary requirements were covered which made everyone feel included. I cannot recommend this place more and we'll be back!
