A modern, open-style venue for couples who are looking for something a bit different. The Guildford Pavilion provides a genuine blank canvas, bring your own vision, your own theme, your own style, and we'll help you build the day around it.

We work with local celebrants who can lead a personalised ceremony on-site, or if you'd rather register officially first, the Guildford Registry Office is just a short walk away — either way, you celebrate here. We specialise in mid-week summer weddings, which means exclusive use of the entire venue for your day: the lawn for a BBQ, the rooftop for a drinks reception, the Long Room for your sit-down meal — all of it yours, with no other event happening alongside you. Weekend dates are also available through the winter months, still with exclusive use included.

Your day, across our spaces

The Long Room — up to 160 standing or 120 seated, with floor-to-ceiling windows over the cricket ground, a private balcony, a fully stocked bar and a lounge area for guests to relax between dancing.
The Terrace Room — a more intimate setting for up to 40 guests, ideal for a smaller wedding breakfast or a pre-dinner drinks reception before moving through to the Long Room.
The Roof Terrace — panoramic views across the Surrey Hills and Guildford Cathedral, perfect for photos and a relaxed drinks reception.
The Sports Ground — for couples who want their day to spill outdoors: a lawn BBQ, garden games, or simply space for guests to enjoy the summer evening.

All packages include a dedicated events team throughout planning, a welcome drink, still and sparkling water, a microphone for speeches, and use of the projector screen. Add DJ and lighting, a starlit dance floor, a photobooth, or casino tables to make the evening your own.

That success is entirely thanks to the seamless organization and exceptional support of the events team. The food was truly outstanding, but the hospitality and atmosphere made the evening extra special. The staff went above and beyond—they were remarkably welcoming, attentive, and even set up a interactive cotton candy station for us, which was a delightful and memorable touch! The venue is fabulous, staff are efficient and helpful and its a great location too! In my experience, great food always makes an event. We have had their internal caterers twice and this year we went for a BBQ with Keely's kitchen and it was exceptional! Great coffee too! We all had a wonderful day, thank you!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We held a team day at the Guildford Pavilion a couple of days ago and I have nothing but praise for them. Saffron and the team worked miracles and nothing was too much bother for them. The venue is immaculate and the meeting room and facilities are perfect for a large group. We also had a team building company come to set up outside which again was professionally handled by the team, including getting us ice creams on one of the hottest days of the year! The BBQ was excellent and literally all dietary requirements were covered which made everyone feel included. I cannot recommend this place more and we'll be back!
